Mandate/Objectives of KVK
The Farm Science Centre, also called Krishi Vigyan Kendra, was established on December 29, 2011, in Mamnoor, Hanamkonda Mandal, Warangal district. It was administered by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati, with full support from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Following the division of Andhra Pradesh state into the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on June 2, 2014, this KVK was placed under the control of P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University. Since then, four districts—Warangal, Hanmakonda , Mulugu, and Jayashanker Bhupalpally—have been served by KVK, Mamnoor.
A multidisciplinary group of scientists from KVK, Mamnoor works with the district's departments of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, agriculture, fisheries, women and child development, and other related fields. A few of the technological interventions that KVK's has been successfuliy addressing the issues such as the farming community are the introduction of high yielding varieties, new farming technologies, disease-resistant varieties of field crops, fodder crops, fisheries related activities and value-added products made from materials that are easily accessible locally.

Farm-based experiments to evaluate the location-specificity of agricultural technologies in different farming practices. Serving as an agricultural technology knowledge and resource hub to assist public, private, and nonprofit sector efforts aimed at boosting the district's agricultural economy
