On 02-11-2024, the Hon. Dr. Shaik N. Meera, Director of ICAR-ATARI Zone -X, Hyderabad, and Dr. M. Mahender, Director of Extension, PVNRTGVU, have visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mamnoor (warangal-2). During the visit he along with DE first inaugurated the Information Centre of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. While going through the center he has interacted and enquired with the scientists regarding the technologies displayed in the information center. Later, distributed the agricultural inputs like sprayers, PPE kits, manual seed sowing machine, cono weeders, tarpaulins and wet grinders to the beneficiaries under TSP & SCSP. Following that Farmers Interface on Backyard Poultry -A sustainable Enterprise was inaugurated by Director by lighting of lamp. In inaugural progrmme he has released QR codes and ready to use Mahua powder. Subsequently he has interacted with progressive and beneficiary farmers. He emphasized the need & importance of collaborative activities with external agencies like NABARD that could help in reaching the benefits to grass root level effectively. He appreciated the scientists on the basis of feed back of farmers. After visiting the demonstration units with the director of extension, the director released the ornamental fish fingerlings (Moly's) for culture in the KVK nursery pond.
